Day 1: “40 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING”

When God calls, we answer! Since starting back to our weekly prayer in the beautiful “Rose Garden,”in the Town Square, on Wednesday’s from 6am-7am- we have seen movement and been hearing God leading us individually and collectively.

One of the promptings has been to start a 40 day fast. The prompting was from a fast that took place in 2007 in San Diego, in which a daily word from God was recorded and kept in a notebook. 18 years ago God called 24 people to humble themselves, for a community and one another.

He reminded them about this fast the past week and to look for the binder where His daily encouragement was kept. Upon opening, it was discovered that the dates for the fast were 9/24/07 to 11/2/07. Tomorrow is 9/24/25 and on a Wednesday which is our prayer day. We knew God was asking us to use these encouraging words from 2007 to begin fasting for the community and His people, but this time for Sonoma!

We would love for you to join us in person, or if you are not able, to join us where you are. We will be posting a daily word for all 40 days. The fasting aspect would be to fast every Wednesday during these dates. If you have any pray needs, please bring them. That is our heart and passion, since we were created in His image to love and support each other.
