Day 8: “None like Me”

Isaiah 45:5-6 - “ I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God but me, so that all may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is no one but me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.”

Psalm 24:8 - “ Lift up your heads, you gates! Rise up, ancient doors! Then the King of glory will come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates! Rise up, ancient doors! Then the King of glory will come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord of Armies, he is the King of glory.”

I don’t believe there are words available in the human language to truly describe who God really is…someday we will stand before him and I know we will be breathless and say to ourselves, “How could I have ever doubted anything about him.”
